Florida wishes they hadn't; the amount of money saved by getting rid of those on drugs didn't cover the cost of all the lab tests. Guess they forgot that lab workers aren't volunteers, and that even a simple blood test can run up a hell of a bill.

No, Floridians wish the number cited were the actual numbers. Like the number of people that skipped out on the testing, deferred the testing, etc. We also requested testing EVERY month. Want tax payer money... piss in the cup. No exceptions.

BTW, we also requested that every elected official be tested quarterly. Guess what happened to that little bit of legislation.

It's simple; if someone has a criminal record, or a recorded history of drug use, make them test for welfare. Otherwise, it's a Fourth Amendment issue, unreasonable search. You can't a**ume someone's on drugs just because they apply for welfare.
